Cocktail Meatballs (Fondue)

Ingredients
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp bread crumbs
  • 1 tbsp onion finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp thyme
  • dash of pepper
  • 1/2 lb lean ground beef
  • Oil for cooking
  • Optional: Worcestershire can be added to make it spicier

  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp bread crumbs
  • 1 tbsp onion finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp thyme
  • dash of pepper
  • 1/2 lb lean ground beef
  • Oil for cooking
  • Optional: Worcestershire can be added to make it spicier
Instructions
  1. Mix well. Form into ¾ inch meatballs.
  2. Heat oil.
  3. Add 1 teaspoon salt. Have meatballs at room temperature and cook about 1 minute.
  4. Serve with: Beef cubes, chicken pieces, European franks, French fried cheese, vegetables and dip, and bread sticks. Also a variety of sauces for dipping.
